Learn to surf on this 2-hour group lesson on Oahu. Join a group of students and discover how to ride the waves like some of the Island's most famous celebrities with the help of a certified, professional instructor. We have small student to instructor ratio of 1 instructor for every 3-4 students. Waikiki Surf Lesson starts a 10 minute safety slide show inside our surf shop, followed by heading to the beach and practicing on the sand for another 10 minutes. In our 20 year experience, we know that surfing is muscle memory, so when first timers master their surf stance then they tend to get up on their very first wave.

Very good experience!! I was worried that I wouldn’t be learning much given it’s a group lesson. But it turned out the coaches were attentive and the fact that paddling back takes some time gave everyone a plenty of chance to be helped and coached. I think we had a large group around ~12, and everyone was able to pop up!

We highly recommend! My husband and I are both beginners who’ve never surfed before. The instructors were very friendly and accommodating and we had such a great time. We are considering coming back one more time before we fly back home. We did not opt in for the photos/videos but wish we had. Some real good quality videos - we’ll be signing up for those next time we visit. All in all, well worth the $ and the time.

Fun surf lesson (2h) for small groups! Store near Waikiki Beach. Bords are directly on the beach. Only short 4 min walk to the sea. Good price for waikiki. Highly recommended!
