The Edward Hopper show was fantastic. A little too crowded for my liking but it ‘s understandable as it towards the end of the showing. Staff was very nice & helpful.

Loved our visit to The Whitney in February and the opportunity to view Edward Hopper’s NYC paintings which I loved. The museum itself is a great building with lots of outdoor viewing platforms over either the Hudson River or Chelsea and the Meatpacking District. You can look down into the High Line and also enjoy some Outdoor sculptures. It is a manageable size and so I did not feel as overwhelmed as in the MoMA. That said, even though it is smaller, it was harder to navigate around as the lifts take a long time to come. It took us a while to work out that we could use the external steps to move between floors much more easily!!
