1.5-Hour Cemetery Ghost Hunt in Chattanooga

Overview
A cemetery hunt is for the more adventurous adult who wants an experience rather than stories. This tour will take you on a ghost investigation through UTC's campus and Citizens Cemetery, utilizing equipment you've seen on television, such as ghost meters, temperature guns, Mel meters, laser grid lights, a parascope, and more, including the talking Ovilus X, which allows communication in real time. Don't forget your cameras- many guests have captured ghostly images including faces and full forms, and your guide will point out the best spots for photos.

This was our first "ghost hunt". It was definitely interesting. We were with a group of what I would call ghost enthusiasts and that helped the experience. Our guide Dale was super knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. We stayed out way past the 90 minutes which was cool. The only feedback I'd give is to find a way to better organize/distribute the equipment at first. Otherwise, what other tour can you go on after 9PM?! :)

Donnie, our guide, had very interesting information about the previous residents (ghosts) and knew whom should be trying to reach out to them. It was our first time doing a ghost hunt, probably not our last. My hair stood on end when I asked "Anna" a bride-left-at-the-alter, if she was here with us, and immediately, through one of the devices, we heard a woman say "YES"!! Very freaky. Plus, at the church where she was to be married, one of the hunt members was poked by something....I don't know what it was and neither did she! There was quite a bit of activity heard by other party members also. Donnie also relayed an incident that happened a few months earlier where a man was PUSHED to the ground and held there, not able to move for a short time....WOW!! We were standing in that same spot....Nothing touched me though. We took some pictures and caught a few orbs and heard a knock on a storage building a few feet from where we were standing...in the cemetery!! All in all, a well worthwhile experience....only if you're a believer (or you may become one anyways!!)

Oh Vicki, Donnie had the best time with your group! Anna likes to talk to the ladies in the group (although she often clams up if we have only men on the hunt). As to the storage building- I'd point out this was after 10 pm, so there was no LIVING person in that building at that time to knock on the door! Thanks so much for sharing your experiences!

This is my first ghost hunt although I've done many ghost tours over the years in various parts of the South. Dale, our guide, is a 30 year veteran in investigating paranormal phenomena and I found him very credible and knowledgeable. He came equipped with numerous electronic gadgets that he passed around to the group to carry during the hunt. I had a laser thermometer. Although I had no interesting temperature readings during the night, I did get several interesting photos with orbs - including a prominent one right next to the head of someone in our group. Even if you are skeptical of ghosts, you will find this tour very interesting. I was a skeptic once too, but the more I've studied paranormal phenomena, the more I believe there is something to it. We did not get any overwhelming evidence during this hunt, but I was not expecting that. If you come with an open mind, you might be surprised what happens. At one point the spirit box that Dale was carrying called out the name of someone in our group and he had a very unique, foreign name. That is not a coincidence! Overall, a great experience and a very good value for the money.
