1.5 Hour Pedal Pontoon Boat Rental in Downtown Nashville

Overview
The Pedal Pontoon is a custom-built, motorized, USGC-approved 16-passenger pontoon boat. 10 individual cycle stations can power the custom paddle wheel in the back of the boat, though most guests prefer we use our standard motor. This reservation is by the seat for a 90 min BYOB cruise. The combined total amount of public seats from your party and other parties must meet a minimum of 8 people to run the cruise, maximum 16 people. Each of the 10 pedal station has its own cup holder and is situated around a large teak wood bar which allow you to eat, drink, and socialize with your group while taking in the breathtaking views of the famous Nashville skyline! There are 6 non-pedal seats on the boat. Every tour is guided and helmed by one of our USGC certified Master Captains and a First Mate to facilitate your unforgettable adventure.

We were a group of 11 adults and children and we had a very enjoyable time on the downtown sightseeing pontoon pedal boat tour. The crew was great and provided us with some interesting information about the Cumberland River and how it is used. The one thing to be aware of is, due to the layout of the city, you will not get to see Nashville up close from the river (but downtown Nashville is a quick walk over the pedestrian bridge so you can definitely see it in as much detail as you want either before or after the boat ride).

The crew was great but the tour was kinda lame. Nothing really to see and very over priced. The boat was in pretty rough shape.

We were so excited to go on this cruise for my sister's bachelorette, but were really disappointed when bad weather rolled in. When we woke up in the morning there were severe storm warnings (see attached photos). We thought the tour would be cancelled because of the severe weather. We did not feel comfortable driving through the wind and lightening, much less getting on a metal boat in the middle of the river! When we talked to someone on the phone, they only said that the captain would make the call, but did not ever discuss the possibility of delaying the tour. Totally understand the company's weather policy is that the Captain gets to make the weather call, but would assume common sense would prevail. We were very disappointed to find out the tour was delayed until after the bad weather passed and still went out! The most disappointing thing overall, was the lack of refund. RQV was only willing to give us a credit because of their 'weather policy.' Since we do not live in the area, we can't use a credit. Again, we understand the company's policy, but think safety is more important and common sense should have prevailed. I would love to speak to someone from the company to see if they would be willing to reconsider.
