Overview

Hawaii looks even better from horseback, so hop on and join us for an adventure you’ll always remember. Led by a friendly guide, you’ll travel through pastures and mountain trails, seeing the gorgeous sights of Oahu’s North Shore along the way, with its clear, blue water, offshore islands, and white sandy beaches. You also get a sneak peek into the Hidden Cave, featured on “Hawaii 5-0”.

You’ll ride to the top of our lookout point and feel proud of yourself for getting there like a real paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy). We look forward to you being a part of our Ohana for a day here at Gunstock Ranch.

CHECK-IN TIME: Check in is 45 minutes prior the start time of tour. A safety demo is given 15 minutes prior to the tour, if you miss the safety demo will have missed your tour
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Minimum age is 7 years
All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. 240lb/109kg weight limit.
Long pants and covered shoes are recommended; bring a light jacket if the weather is cold
We ride rain or shine. If canceled due to unsafe weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
Phones or small cameras are allowed.
No pregnant or intoxicated riders are allowed to ride.

Let me just say Gunstock Ranch did not disappoint me AT ALL !!! The drive is definitely worth it but back to them. I must say THANK YOU ! for making my 12 yr. old daughter’s dream come true. My youngest daughter loves horses and has already wanted to ride on. Your organization along with my pocketbook made it possible. Look at my comment this way it was an all-hands effort where everyone benefited. Cole was beyond the best just to sit back ride Winston and listen to him share his life and experience with my family was so welcoming. Cole and his team did not make us feel like they were doing it for the money either. I could tell, just by not only talking to Cole but to the rest of the staff as well these people not only work hard but they really love what you do and let me tell you when you have people like that, that are doing it for the love and not the money the blessing just come on you more. My family loves seeing the love they have for animals in general and how friendly and above all else PATIENT they were. We have already made plans to come back for Christmas of 2023 HEY! Hawaii ain’t cheap now.

We had such a good time on this horseback ride led by McKenna and Kira. You could tell the horses were well cared for, content, and treated with respect at Gunstock Ranch. I had considered two other horseback riding experiences but am so glad I went with this one. The scenic trail is a great mix of scenery culminating at a scenic viewpoint--I highly recommend this experience!

Had a great time. Emily and Makenna were great. Showed us what to do and offered encouragement as needed on the ride. Took pictures of our group. Provided tons of information and talked with us as we rode. The views of the ranch were great as was the views of the ocean.
