Overview

Hawaii looks even better from horseback, so hop on and join us for an adventure you’ll always remember. Led by a friendly guide, you’ll travel through pastures and mountain trails, seeing the gorgeous sights of Oahu’s North Shore along the way, with its clear, blue water, offshore islands, and white sandy beaches. You also get a sneak peek into the Hidden Cave, featured on “Hawaii 5-0”.

You’ll ride to the top of our lookout point and feel proud of yourself for getting there like a real paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy). We look forward to you being a part of our Ohana for a day here at Gunstock Ranch.

CHECK-IN TIME: Check in is 45 minutes prior the start time of tour. A safety demo is given 15 minutes prior to the tour, if you miss the safety demo will have missed your tour
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Minimum age is 7 years
All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. 240lb/109kg weight limit.
Long pants and covered shoes are recommended; bring a light jacket if the weather is cold
We ride rain or shine. If canceled due to unsafe weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
Phones or small cameras are allowed.
No pregnant or intoxicated riders are allowed to ride.

Great experience! The staff were great with our kids, who had never been on a horse before. Easy pace and very well trained horses. Gavin and Avery were awesome.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and organized. Our guide, Avery, was very nice and conversational. The riders in the middle to back of our single-file line were unable to hear some of the interesting information she shared simply due to the way we rode. The horses were well cared for, and well behaved, and it was clear that they are valued as individual personalities by our guide. This 1.5 hour scenic horseback ride was a great experience for our family and did provide very pretty views!

It was an amazing experience with Avery and her team of guides. There were 6 adults and 2 kids (Age 7-13). For one of the kids and one adult it was their first time riding a horse. There was some apprehension but after a short orientation where they explain how to get on and off your horse and how to get them to move forward or stop, they felt much better. They pick the horse for you based on how big you are but they were very gentle, well all but one, and he just did not like others riding his butt. The views are magnificent and it's a very peaceful relaxing ride through the ranch. Great mountain views, beach views and got to see a cave an episode of Hawaii 5-0 was filmed in.
