Overview

Hawaii looks even better from horseback, so hop on and join us for an adventure you’ll always remember. Led by a friendly guide, you’ll travel through pastures and mountain trails, seeing the gorgeous sights of Oahu’s North Shore along the way, with its clear, blue water, offshore islands, and white sandy beaches. You also get a sneak peek into the Hidden Cave, featured on “Hawaii 5-0”.

You’ll ride to the top of our lookout point and feel proud of yourself for getting there like a real paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy). We look forward to you being a part of our Ohana for a day here at Gunstock Ranch.

CHECK-IN TIME: Check in is 45 minutes prior the start time of tour. A safety demo is given 15 minutes prior to the tour, if you miss the safety demo will have missed your tour
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Minimum age is 7 years
All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. 235lb/106kg weight limit.
Long pants and covered shoes are recommended; bring a light jacket if the weather is cold
We ride rain or shine. If canceled due to unsafe weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
Phones or small cameras are allowed.
No pregnant or intoxicated riders are allowed to ride.

We had such an amazing time on our horseback ride tour during our honeymoon! We got to the ranch early, and we loved how there were animals you could feed (a cow, goats, big bunnies, and baby bunnies). Our tour was nice and small (only 2 other riders plus the 2 guides). We saw beautiful views and our horses were so gently and lovely (Mango and Mochi). My husband had never ridden a horse before, so this was one of his favorite excursions on our honeymoon (and we went to all 4 of the Hawaiian islands!). I highly recommend Gunstock Ranch if you plan to go horseback riding in Hawaii. We had a great experience!

Great place and really recommend visiting. Well set up for the horses, lovely petting zoo which even as two adults enjoyed visiting. The staff were real friendly and helpful, our tour guide very knowledgeable about the ranch, its history, and the terrain we were riding through. With a 'Not ridden since a child' partner chose this ride rather than the more experienced one, but it was very peaceful and calm walking along. Very well looked after and well trained, sensible and calm horses.

Beth was a big reason we had an amazing time! She led us to beautiful views, taught us about the surroundings. Always made sure that everyone was comfortable and that the horses were behaving :) Really loved that it was less touristy than some other horseback riding spots that we looked into. Highly recommend!
