Overview

Get ready for an adventure in the Alaskan wilderness with an ATV tour from Denali. On an automatic single or double ATV, you'll ride along trails surrounded by Denali National Park at speeds up to 30 mph (48 kph), and make stops to enjoy 360-degree views of the Alaska Range, Otto Lake, and the Healy Valley. Traverse rocky creek beds and splash through the water (weather permitting) as a guide leads you through the rugged terrain and provides opportunities for photography. This trip is designed for those people who have never ridden an ATV before. Also there is zero chance of seeing any wildlife given the route and the roar of the convoy of ATVs. It’s super commercial and they cram in 20-30 drivers in each group so the intimacy is lost. The attitude of the folks is totally oriented towards the beginners (they have to be for safety reasons ) so the experienced riders are told very harshly to fall in line and drive super meekly. Even if all you want to do is to learn how to drive an ATV, this is not the tour for you because there simply isn’t enough space for any personalized feedback given how large the groups are. The flightseeing and Jeep drive and hiking and backcountry tours are FAR FAR better value for money...

Thanks for taking the time to review our tour. Our tour is not designed for those who have never ridden ATVs before but many of our guests have not and we do our best to help them have a fun experience! I looked up your specific tour and you had a total of 9 ATVs in your group, which is far less than the 20-30 you say in your review. We cap our tours at 12 units to try and keep the intimate, small tour feel. Our tour is an adventure ride in the Denali area wilderness that caters to all experience levels. A majority of our guests love our tour, as all can see with our other reviews.

Clay and Shane skillfully led is on remote trails getting us up close and personal with Alaskan terrain and wildlife. GREAT choice for my guys who love rugged, bumpy, dusty/wet ATV adventuring.

Clay and Shane were great guides, we really liked the way they ran the tour. Safety first but a lot of fun as well. Clay spotted a Moose and stopped us for a photo op, but also made sure everyone was safe.
