Get a nice photo of the historic Queen Mary as we pass by on our way out of the harbor!

From the harbor we are afforded and amazing view of the Long Beach waterfront, skyline and the famous whale mural by Wyland!

Korean Bell of Friendship

From the ocean below, a keen observer can see the great bell on the cliffs above!

Steve was a great captain and explained the different types of animals as we saw them. We were fortunate enough to see a handful of fin whales, the second largest whale, some coastal dolphins, and juvenile seals on a buoy. The water conditions were perfect and we enjoyed our outing!

There were 6 people on our tour on a Sunday morning. Weather was calm and beautiful. Boat is small and open air so dress warmly. I was glad for my hat and double layers. Capt was very pleasant and quite knowledgeable. Parking is on sight and free. You must be able to step down the equivalent of two steps to board boat. Seats were very comfortable. We did not see whales but we saw seals, marine birds and bottle nosed dolphins. A massive pod of dolphins that swam right next to the boat for quite awhile. We enjoyed seeing all the baby dolphins and being so close to them. I would definitely take this tour again even without a whale sighting.

It was a very small group and captain was very knowledgeable on narrating the difference sceneries of the species. It was well worth it. I will go again when I am back on this area
