Get a nice photo of the historic Queen Mary as we pass by on our way out of the harbor!

Long Beach

From the harbor we are afforded and amazing view of the Long Beach waterfront, skyline and the famous whale mural by Wyland!

Korean Bell of Friendship

From the ocean below, a keen observer can see the great bell on the cliffs above!

We had the best trip to see dolphins (3 species), sea lions, and seals on this excursion! The water was clear, our captain Steve knew where to go to find the pods of dolphins and other marine wildlife, and he was a great storyteller about the animals we saw! Definitely follow his advice to use the restroom/get snacks before you board, and I recommend bringing a sweater for the wind as you travel 8 miles out! We went with our 1.5 yo toddler and she really loved seeing the animals and also took a nap. (I was secretly happy we didn’t spot any whales, as I have a healthy fear of them, but Steve was on the lookout for them and I’m sure he spots them all the time.) 10/10 excursion! (My photos refuse to load but we had dolphins swimming with us for a while)

Steve was a great captain who braught us to 2 species of dolphins. It was amazing to see them that close. Unfortunatelly we didn't get any whales to see, but that's not guaranteed. We were only a group of 6 people which has made the whole experience very special.

I booked as a solo traveller and felt comfortable and enjoyed the day. Steve was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. We saw dolphins and seals and had a nice trip out to sea. Well organised, clear and concise directions of assembly point and what to expect.
