What To Expect

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

Mitten View, Mitchell Mesa, Merrick Butte, Elephant/Camel Buttes, John Fords Point, Three Sisters, and Rain God. Backcountry: Chiefs Head, Big Hogan, Totem Pole View, Suns Eye, Ear of the Wind, and hogan demonstration.

Our guide was named Harry. He gave the names of all the formations and gave a lot of Native American history and cultural practices. He sang sons for us in his language and they were awesome. He also gave us a lot of Hollywood history associated with the valley.

With our driver Steven, we experienced everything that is beautiful and amazing about Monument Valley. He was waiting to greet us in the lobby as planned and we were whisked away on our experience of a lifetime. As a driver and guide, Steven was extremely professional and informative. He brought us up close to the mesas, buttes and spires stopping for walks and photographs. As well we experienced a native weaving demonstration in a traditional hut and a beautiful flute performance in a large cove amongst the rock. He was able to drive us into areas that only the native guides can go. We saw petroglyphs in such an area. Without this tour company and particularly Steven, our experience of Monument Valley would have been limited. We can highly recommend this company. The roads are very rough and sandy so we would not recommend attempting to drive by yourself.

This tour exceeded my expectations! It was a great experience! We loved our guide, Joseph. He was so knowledgeable, and he was fun to be with. I loved all the camera tips he gave us, too! I'm so glad we took this tour. The scenery is amazing! You will not be disappointed!
