First and foremost , taking a guided tour is the only way to get the most out of your monument valley visit . Not the best of the driving conditions , even with a high clearance SUV. We went with Dineh Bikeyah because of its top rating and it lived up to our expectations. Charlene (owner / manager) is super responsive and easily accessible via phone. Due to weather we had to make some last minute changes to our plan and could work with Charlene to get a tour booked at a short notice. Our Guide/driver was Steven Charles Halliday and we could not expect a nicer or a friendlier person to tour with . Not only he shared a lot of info about the valley , we also picked up quite a few useful photography tricks from him . Would strongly recommend him if you had a choice

Cannot speak highly enough about this tour. Very flexible when we wanted to customize it. Guide Tulle (spelling?) was awesome. He knew exactly where to stand at exactly what time of day to get the best pictures. Funny, knowledgeable and an excellent driver. I could not believe some of the places he got us in to. Lots of interesting local information and stories from his childhood in the valley. I've driven through Monument Valley before, but you are missing about 4/5 of it if you don't have a (this) good tour guide.

We did a morning tour and an afternoon tour with Dineh Bekeyah Tours. The guides were wonderful and interesting and I would highly recommend this tour company.
