We took a group of 8 people with our guide Harry in a large van. Charlene (tour operator) and our guide Harry arrived on time at our hotel, The View. We saw a lot, Harry stopped to explain the various sites. We had several opportunities to get out of the van to take photos and listen to our guide's stories. The personal stories by our guide enhanced our guided visit and gave us a better understanding of Navajo culture and traditions. The tour lasted 2.5 hours. Thank you very much. Highly recommended.

The 2.5 hour tour includes many sites you cannot see on the self-guided driving tour. Our guide, Harry gave us pointers on photography as well as shared his experience growing up in the Navajo nation. He was very helpful throughout the tour. If you’re coming to Monument Valley, you really should do this tour!

A breathtaking, spiritual experience, even for those doubters, like me. I could have stayed in this place all day. Our guide, John, picked us up at the View hotel lobby right on time. My wife and I were the only two people signed up, so we got a private tour, and we saw only 6 other people the entire 2.5 hours, so it was really serene. John lives right at the valley entrance, and knows so much about the place, and shared all his insight and knowledge, what a great guy. The tour takes you places you cannot get to in your own car, and with all the recent snows, you would get stuck in the mud anyway. Take some time to breathe in the air and enjoy the natural, unique beauty around you. Lots of history here too, of course with the Navajo, and many movies. You can google the list and look at different scenes. No camping is allowed in the valley, but there is one spot where Rose, a native dweller, has a few hoodoos you can rent for overnight. That would be amazing.
