Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

Mitten View, Mitchell Mesa, Merrick Butte, Elephant/Camel Buttes, John Fords Point, Three Sisters, and Rain God. Backcountry: Chiefs Head, Big Hogan, Totem Pole View, Suns Eye, Ear of the Wind, and hogan demonstration.

We were lucky to be the only two people in the Jeep, but Joe was a great great guide anyway. He told us everything about Monument Valley, and him being from there, he could tell us some curiosities and we could even hear a traditional song from him in the arches. We would repeat the visit without a doubt.

We toured Monument Valley, making our reservations online in the early morning. We were fortunate with a friendly and personal guide who made the entire experience far richer than if we had just driven the usual tourist route...plus of course we would have missed some of the interesting details, not to mention all the commentary and stories that Joseph brought to life. Highly recommended!
