French family, we have done the 9th of Augsut 2022 the 2.5 hour tour with Par Dineh Bekeyah Toursnd and our guide Joseph. The tour was really amazing  and our guide Joseph was enthusiastic to show us all the key sights, allow us opportunities to take lots of photos and share with us many things about the Navajo culture, life past and present. We really enjoyed this tour. Highly recommend. Thanks Joe.

In such immensity, you need a guide to fully appreciate your excursion and to learn about the native culture which has been interwined with the landscape for so long. In fact, you will not have access to the backcountry (areas out of the main dirt road) without one. The tour consists into a 2.5 hours tour in a open truck with 3-4 families, and about 4-5 photo stops. Our guide was JOE. With 30 years of experience, he shared with us A LOT of knowledge. With him you will learn to say Hello in Dineh, the best photo tricks, understand why the number 4 is the most important in the native culture and many other facts about the Dineh culture. He was just fantastic, essy going and left wanting to know more about this great culture.

This tour was perfect! The guide was very knowledgeable and provided just the right amount of time at each stop. The tour was given in an open-air vehicle which allowed you to really experience Monument Valley in the sunshine and the breeze. I would make sure to bring water and snacks (although water was also available to refill your bottle on the truck). This tour was so much easier than driving it yourself since the roads were dirt roads and a little rough. Would highly recommend.
