Thoroughly enjoyed my interesting and very informative 4pm private tour with Queena yesterday. She was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the different buttes, mesas and petroglyphs - pointing out various formations and images within them and telling me her story and about the Navajo way of life as she expertly navigated the bumpy trail. We stopped at a female Hogan where we watched a demonstration of spinning wool and she carefully explained the symbolism and meaning behind the various items inside. She also talked about the different uses of various plants we saw along the journey. It got dark towards the end of the tour but the lighting on the rocks at the start of the tour and as the sun was setting was stunning. Even though we were running over time, she was happy to take me through the whole route (and beyond). I would never have been able to see so much of Monument Valley without Queena behind the wheel and am incredibly thankful she was my guide. I highly recommend her tour.

We totally recommend you request Queena ***** to be your tour guide for Monument Valley. Since we have a truck camper, we knew it was best if we used a tour guide to get the full experience of the valley. We had no idea just how personalized and magical the day turned into evening would be. A blessing in disguise to use Three Sister Navajo Guided Tours. We took the 2.5 hour that turned into a sunset tour as well. The history itself would have been amazing, but Queena, being native Navajo shared personal stories of her and her family that lived within the valley. Queena treated us to a song (that we were given permission to share on our vlog - we are Truck Camper Living on YouTube and Facebook). We traveled off the routine road to see several arches, petroglyphs, buttes shapes and heard stories for each. We experienced a Hogan where we had the opportunity to hear about the history, lifestyle, construction of, and watched demonstrations. The pride for this sacred land was evident by her every word. We were fortunate to be the only couple on the tour, which made for a most enjoyable tour. She took many photos for us and shared where to take some unique ones. We really can't express enough how wonderful Queena was in making this experience one we will never forget.
