I had a good time on this one! There's an option to stay on the America side, or catch the views from Canada. I would suggest Canada as it definitely has better views and lots of entertainment including several shops, casinos and a ferris wheel. (at least from the pictures I saw from others who went there, I was on the American side, and although there were a lot of viewpoints, it was quite crowded and hard to get a spot during 'prime time' of the lights and fireworks show. Though most of all I would like to thank our guides Brian and Etleva - - Brian is multitalented and kept the whole bus entertained with humor, wit, stories and song, and conversation with everyone, making us feel included. - Etleva was very sweet. I wanted to check out an attraction which was some distance away, and since I was alone, she gladly accompanied me. She made sure I was comfortable and having fun throughout the journey. - Our driver Carlito who helped with the luggage and got us back 45 mins earlier. Ride was smooth and comfortable. Thanks all!

Brian our tour guide was nothing short of amazing. He constantly checked in with each one of us and told such interesting stories about the history of the places. The tour itself was well thought out and gave us ample time at each stop. If you have to get a visa to go to the Canada side, I think itā€™s worth it. You are next to the horseshoe falls and the view is incredible. You can also see the American Falls, when itā€™s all lit up at night. As an unexpected bonus there were fireworks in the evening at 10pm over the falls. We were just lucky to be there then. There were lots of restaurants, fast food options, gift shops and experiences such as the Ferris wheel, on the Ontario side of the falls. I heard there are far less options on the US side. After the Maid of the Mist ride, do not toss your poncho immediately as thereā€™s a spot where you can climb up on the side of the waterfall and you will need it for that if you want to do that. There were plenty of food options (both cold and hot) at where we stopped for lunch. It has been a good trip and Iā€™m glad I did it.

The ride on the Maid of the mist was great experience. Our guide Brian is great too. However, the road journey is a bit long and boring.
