Enjoy a unique kayaking experience on this Small-Group Guided Glass Bottom Kayak Eco Tour of Rock Springs in Florida. Begin your tour with a quick tutorial on basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. Your kayak tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5-hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures at several of the picturesque stopping points along the way (there will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water!) The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready to learn unique facts about the area and spot the local nature and wildlife along the way. Animals you may see: turtles, birds, fish, otters, deer, alligators, and more!

Weight Restriction: 425 pounds per boat (two guests) and no more than 250 pounds per seat (individual)
For every minor participating, there needs to be an adult to accompany them within the kayak. Children must be at least 3yrs old to participate.
Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers). However, the seats are removable and if you have an odd number of paddlers in your party we are able to accommodate the kayak as a single. Keep in mind, the same 250 pound PER person weight limit still applies even if taking a kayak as a single.

We agree to practice social distancing. Please keep a safe distance of at least 6 feet from guests in another party. We commit to not pair you with a guest from another party and to perform enhanced cleaning measures in between tours.

What To Expect

Rock Springs Run

We will start the tour at King's Landing and paddle into a unique part of Rock Springs Run known as "Emerald Cut". This portion of the waterway is a beautiful greenish/blue tint with tree canopies overhead. There's a hidden jump platform that we allow guests to take a leap from if they choose.

Ok so we found this on Instagram lm so glad me and my daughter did this we both loved it sooooo much and our guide Daniel was so patient with us and he was the best guide l feel like when l come back lm a somehow see if l can only have him l recommend him for beginners because like l said he was very nice and patient we were slower than the others in the group but he didn’t seem bothered not once he checked on us and made sure we were ok the whole time l also recommend the morning tour ours was at 9am wear clothes you are ok with getting wet in the water was beautiful it was peaceful on the way down a workout going up but so worth it

We had so much fun on our trip to Rock Springs with Get Up And Go Kayaking. Our guide, Daniel, was awesome. So friendly and personable! He was very knowledgeable pointing out different native plants, giving us fun facts, offering to take photos (seriously check out these beautiful fam photos he captured for us!) and even grabbed us some fresh watercress that was growing along our route to try. Our son especially loved the clear kayaks and being able to see into the water underneath us! Highly recommend!

Our tour guide was Daniel. We lucked out, he is awesome. Very helpful and friendly. He makes you feel at ease just like an old friend. The river itself is beautiful. Crystal clear water and gorgeous scenery, but our guide really made it all come together. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and fun.
