We have taken four Segway tours before, and this is by far the best. Asheville is a great town with amazing architecture, lots of great shopping, and a very active arts community. You can scope it all out while navigating the streets and sidewalks on your Segway - this is definitely one of the best ways to get your bearings. Wes is a terrific guide - he's patient and makes sure everyone is comfortable learning to operate a Segway before the tour starts. He's also very knowledgable about the city, its history, and everything that is going on in downtown Asheville. If you go through Asheville, you should make time for a Segway tour.

We are two couples in our early 60's who had never been on a Segway previously. We had some reservations about how quickly and safely we could use the Segway. With instructions from Wes and some practice before the tour we found them easy and fun to use. The tour was informational, and Wes made it enjoyable with his wit and friendliness. We want to do the tour again and would recommend it to anyone who goes to Asheville.

My fiance and I participated in the Moving Sidewalk Tour over Labor Day weekend. This is a fantastic activity for couples of all ages. Wes is AWESOME, he was very knowledgable of the city's history. He is also a great Segway instructor, he really takes the time to show you how to ride and gives you plenty of time to practice before you head out. He shows you all that downtown Asheville has to offer, and takes side trips to really allow you to maneuver the Segway's. LOADS & LOADS of fun, I can't stop talking about this experience.
