This was the second time we did the tour. We liked it the first time a few years ago and picked up a few interesting tidbits but we really enjoyed it the second time. Our guide was Amy, she exudes a lot of positive energy, she takes pride in showing her city around. Has a lot of historic facts and comes prepared with props. It is a wonderful way of seeing the city before you start exploring on your own.

Our guide, Amy T., is a longtime resident of Charleston who really loves her work. She designed the tour to help explain the cityā€™s long history in ways that Iā€™ll remember. In particular, she ties together the unique geography that shaped Charlestonā€™s role in commerce and war. Rather than just a visit to this building or that park, she goes a little deeper to explain the architecture, the connection to the cityā€™s evolution, and how those are known today. Never a dull moment because Amy is highly energized and humorous.
