I’m really glad I did this walking tour as soon as I arrived in Charleston, because it grounded me in the history of the area and helped me know where I wanted to walk back to later. Dennis was an excellent guide. Knowledgeable about the history and politics of the area, and wasn’t cracking a lot of bad jokes throughout, like tour guides in other cities. A word to those who have challenges with walking … this tour might not be for you because there are a lot of uneven surfaces in this town, and raised tree rings built into the sidewalks. Lots of tripping hazards. If you do it, keep your eyes off your phone!

What an amazing experience. Our guide Coach Duggar was so warm, informative, funny and engaging. So much history and overview of the historic district and French quarter. A great start to our day and had a much better lay of the land to further explore. Definitely will pick another tour with this outfit. 10/10 āļø
