This was a great tour, and we really enoyed it. We went as a family (two adults and a 10-year-old). Our guide knew local history deeply, with great anecdotes from the past, and answered a range of questions from the group. This tour involves a fair amount of walking, but I found our 10-year-old was able to keep up just fine (although see note at the end about rain). I think kids much younger than 10 might find this a lot of walking. The guides do their best to keep it entertaining (our 10yo got a lot out of it), and the content is mostly family-friendly, but the tour is mostly aimed at adults. I highly recommend this tour if you're in the area. The history puts all of the (very pretty) downtown in good context. It started pouring rain towards the end (February!) so my wife and kid bailed. But I stuck with the tour and was well-rewarded with more sights and historic locations.
