Go back in time on an extraordinary journey starting at a secluded prehistoric archaeological and aquatic preserve mangrove jungle merely a short distance from the bustling Fort Pierce inlet. This jungle is off the beaten path, made by nature, uncut and not groomed for tourism, therefore; it is inaccessible to motorized watercraft and rarely visited by other tours. Glide through the labyrinth of uncut narrow nature-made, fully-shaded, low hanging tree tunnels and waterways. See the beauty, hear just the sounds of nature and feel the tranquility during this unique escape.

As you emerge from the mangrove jungle, a winding open waterway invites you to explore shallow sandbars where fascinating small marine life abound. Witness many species of avian wildlife from the large great blue heron to the small songbirds as they go about their daily routines.

So peaceful! It was a windy and sunny day - ahead of time we wondered if the wind would make paddling difficult, but since we were mostly in mangrove “tunnels” the wind was not a factor. Also we were comfortable because of the shade. Another concern had been mosquitoes and no-see-ums, but none of us got even one bite! Mark and Fabia were personable, fun, and easygoing. Mark gave us lots of interesting information about the mangroves and the area. At one point we stopped and those who wanted to were able to wade in the water. Fabia took lots of pictures that she texted to us after the trip. These were the most comfortable kayaks we have ever been in - high, cushy seats with comfortable back rests! It was a perfect kayak experience- comfortable, easy, peaceful, and fun!

Well managed tour with the most comfortable kayaks I’ve ever experienced. Mark was perfect guide. Beautiful, peaceful, and easy kayak experience.

We did the 2 hour tour. Plenty to see, Mark was a great guide had lot of information aboat the area. All the little crabs in the trees are cool and also saw a sting ray. Planning on returning for a longer tour.
