To start, it was a welcoming environment. When we arrived, we were greeted at the entrance. They had a photographer ready to take our picture in front of the boat.
We were seated upon arrival, but that's where the good service ended. The service was incredibly slow. We waiting 15 minutes for our server to acknowledge us and take our drink orders. We decided to order food and our drink at the same time to avoid waiting even longer for the waiter to come back.
Next, we received our food quickly but waited another 10 minutes to get our drinks. We both got soda, not a special alcoholic drink of any kind that would warrant such a long wait.
The food was subpar--I had the beef shoulder and was unimpressed by the chewy meat quality and lack of flavor. My boyfriend had their chicken Parmesan which tasted like one you would by in a Marie Callendar's $8 frozen TV dinner. Was also unimpressed by his food.
We finally decided to order alcoholic drinks and a Tiramisu dessert. The drinks took about 10 minutes to arrive--so that wasn't long. However, we waited over 30 minutes to get our Tiramisu. In the time that I waited for the Tiramisu to arrive, we spent some time on the top deck and finished my Lemon Drop Martini, went back down and waited. I heard the table next to us order a Tiramisu a few minutes after we did and they received their dessert before we did.
I was very unsatisfied with the ridiculously slow service.
The only positive thing about this experience was the fact that you're on a boat! The beautiful view and the boat ride was all positive. The service and food was awful.
