Overview

Our Marco Island Sightseeing and Shelling Tour departs from the Goodland Boat Park, in Goodland, FL. On our two hour ecotour you will experience one of the most popular adventures we are known for, we will take you for an exciting and scenic cruise through the Ten Thousand Islands, where our Captains and Guides will provide information about the ecology of this unique ecosystem. After cruising through the mangrove islands, we will stop on a private beach in search of the most exotic tropical sea shells that the Gulf coast is known for. This is a very informational adventure that will keep small children and adults engaged the whole time.

Please note: Everyone in your party must sign the electronic waiver located on your voucher before arriving to your Boat Tour.

What To Expect

Goodland Boating Park

ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE. We depart from the Goodland Boat Park located at 740 Palm Point Dr, Goodland, FL 34140. This location includes a 5.22 acre park, restrooms, concessions for sale from sunscreen to food and allows easy access to the the Ten Thousand Islands and Gulf of Mexico.

We really contemplated booking a shelling and boat tour, but decided it was only 2 hours so we would do it. So glad we did! Didn’t get to see any dolphins like I was hoping for but took the 9am trip and both my husband and I really enjoyed it! Captain Andrew was very easy going, informative and professional. The shelling was amazing compared to the beach front of Tigertail or South beach. Do it, enjoy, go early before the heat of the day. It’s not expensive and worth every penny!

Our guide Captain Andrew was awesome, he was very knowledgeable about the history of Cape Ramano and the habitat of the area. The shelling was nice, but for us the boat ride and the beautiful scenery was spectacular. We highly recommend this trip before the domes completely disappear.

Capt Andrew was great. He was very knowledgeable about the area explaining different things and even stopped a few times also to explain the area. We saw dolphins swimming in the marina area as soon as we left. The Dome Houses are a must see since they don't know how much longer they will be around. The private island/beach was amazing with so many different shells of all sizes and colors. We all even found at least two whole sand dollars. The two hour time period was perfect because of the sun and heat. Make sure to take plenty of water. I would definitely take this tour again.
