Overview

Our Marco Island Sightseeing and Shelling Tour departs from the Goodland Boat Park, in Goodland, FL. On our two hour ecotour you will experience one of the most popular adventures we are known for, we will take you for an exciting and scenic cruise through the Ten Thousand Islands, where our Captains and Guides will provide information about the ecology of this unique ecosystem. After cruising through the mangrove islands, we will stop on a private beach in search of the most exotic tropical sea shells that the Gulf coast is known for. This is a very informational adventure that will keep small children and adults engaged the whole time.

Please note: Everyone in your party must sign the electronic waiver located on your voucher before arriving to your Boat Tour.

What To Expect

Goodland Boating Park

ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE. We depart from the Goodland Boat Park located at 750 Palm Point Dr, Goodland, FL 34140. This location includes a 5.22 acre park, restrooms, concessions for sale from sunscreen to food and allows easy access to the the Ten Thousand Islands and Gulf of Mexico.

We really enjoyed this ride. The beauty of all this southern region of Marco and Goodland is just exceptional! So many folks miss this area. Nevermind those dome shaped structures.. the beaches are pristine!! Beautiful boating area!! Scratch the crowded residents beach gig,, and take this ride to spectacular beaches!!

A beautiful boat ride. Captain Andrew was very friendly and guided us safely through shallow waters. Cape romano was very interesting and we enjoyed captains knowledge and loved seeing pictures from when it was in its full glory. Shelling in always fun. And we got about t 20 sand dollars and a long walk along the sand. Lots of dolphins 🐬 following and playing in the wake. It was beautiful. Thank you for a great morning.

This review is for both trips we took with Captain Marco through Florida Adventures. Our first trip was on Wednesday and we had such a great time we booked a trip for Friday as soon as we got back to our condo requesting Captain Marco as our guide. On Wednesday he had dolphins chasing the boat before we even left the bay. Of course I wasn’t recording when I thought I was so he made a u turn and got them to do it again so I could get them on video. He is very knowledgeable about the wildlife and area surroundings. Not that he can control what you find but on this trip my 12 y/o daughter found a horse conch that I think even he was envious of. He takes you to places where your chances of finding awesome shells is high. On our Friday trip he took us to a couple of different shelling islands and again showed us his knowledge of shells and the surrounding habitats. He extended this trip beyond the scheduled time which he didn’t have to do. On the way back in he made every effort to get dolphins to chase the boat so we could get footage and enjoy watching them play in the boat’s wake. Captain Marco is a true professional. He enjoys his job and truly enjoys being able to bring happiness into people’s lives. He loves the environment and will do anything to protect it. On our Friday trip we found a giant hermit crab that was too big for it’s shell. He was hellbent on finding a larger shell for the crab to occupy. Luckily he was able to find one and we hope the crab changed shells. I would highly recommend a tour with Captain Marco! We’ll see you next year!
