This photo class, and tour, is a unique experience in and around Santa Fe. Professional photographer David has been a Santa Fe resident for more than 30 years. Bring your digital camera, smartphone, or both. This photo class/tour is a great place to start here in Santa Fe. You will learn composition, portraiture, landscape photography, lowlight, camera functions, and lots more. This 2- hour photo-class/tour will be a fun and insightful photographic learning experience for you while getting to know Santa Fe. Photo editing with Snapseed will be part of the instructions.
David knows all the best places to photograph in and around Santa Fe as well as being able to help travelers with questions regarding local restaurants, cultural activities, hiking, etc.

Very good primer on photography using Santa Fe architecture as subject. Geared to smart phones which is convenient. Note this is not really a tour but rather an on-site photo session. If you’re looking to improve your travelling photos then this is just the class for you..

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our lesson with David H. He shared simple but profound guidelines for setting up and taking photos, and walked us through the editing app Snapseed. David is a patient and personable teacher. He promised we would develop a new mindset for taking memorable photos. And he delivered!

I had the pleasure of meeting David for this 2-hour photography class in Santa Fe. David is a patient and knowledgable instructor. His pace makes a huge difference, he's calm and hands-on, he balances theory with real life experience. I learned so much from him. It was fun to see the world through his eyes and in this way gain a new perspective in life. I can't wait to apply what I learned from David, especially where to position myself and my camera for the right shot, to slow down a bit, and that it takes many shots and some nice editing tools to make a wonderful picture.
