Decided at the last minute to do water rafting, so checked with a few other water rafting companies in Gardiner and they were either closed for the season ( weird , considering it was 9/1/23) or didn’t have the right time or space for us. So found Wild West water rafting guys and they added a boat for our family of 4 at the last moment to the existing group. Most of us did water rafting for the 2nd time in their life and were very nervous. But this was an easy and enjoyable raft! Got wet but not too much, had to paddle but with many breaks. So would be good for all ages, for all levels and for all who don’t want to be very wet. Also got the picture package and the photos were great. Wont be able to get same photos if did on our own. Highly recommend!

The one thing our 16-year-old wanted to do on our trip to Yellowstone was go white water rafting. There's a few options in Gardiner, MT but we went with Wild West Whitewater Rafting on a recommendation from an employee at the motel we were staying at and we're so glad we did! They're located right in the middle of town and everyone there was helpful and kind. They have all the equipment you need (water shoes, splash jackets, etc). You can also pay for a picture package, which we got. It was worth the cost! There's no way you can get those great pictures yourself when you're on the boat. Matt was our guide, he was great and very knowledgeable about the area and Yellowstone. We only did the 2 hour trip, but wished we had done the full day, especially our 16-year-old.

Brendan was a great guide, lots of fun information and had us laughing the entire trip. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back again in the future.
