We had a great time. Thomas was an excellent guide, the river was delightful. It was a modest challenge but nothing that either of us could not handle. I was concerned that I would be cold as it was in the 50 degree range. No problem, the sun was out, the river was fine. What a great day. And then there was wine!. What a great way to end it with a glass of very good wine and live music. All in all, a great day!

We had a blast! I'm a beginner at kayaking, and this was just the right fit for me. The whole trip was kind of like a lazy river with just enough current to keep you on your toes. (not too lazy though, you will need to row!) Danny was our guide, and he was fantastic. Just the most upbeat and helpful person, and you can tell he loves what he does. For views, November admittedly wasn't the prime time for this trip, but I can only imagine how beautiful the flora is in the Spring and into early Fall. Overall, can't recommend enough and would do it again!

The entire experience was incredibly fun! We had Matt as our ā€œguideā€. He drove us down to the launching point, but made the drive both funny and informational! Went through all of the kayak details and made sure we felt confident before letting us go. The kayak itself takes some getting used to but once you figure it out and embrace the spinning, itā€™s so much fun!! There are little baby ā€œrapidsā€ that carry you along so itā€™s not a huge paddle effort. The winery at the end is delightful. Great wines and lovely hosts. Their food is good too! We had a pizza and salad. We ended up buying a bottle! Would highly recommend for friends trips or families with older children!
