What To Expect

Grand Teton

A high altitude environment with stunning vistas and abundant wildlife. The mountains rise 6,000 feet straight from the valley floor.

Moose Wilson Road

The "back door" to the park on a dirt road. Lots of opportunities for wildlife here.

Mormon Row Historic District

Grand Teton abounds with human history. This settlement holds evidence of some of the first settlers.

Jackson Lake

One of the biggest lakes in the state of Wyoming. Opportunities for birds here.

Menor's Ferry Historical Trail

Fascinating history in this area of the park. Short walk along the Snake River and among wooden cabins.

Oxbow Bend

A beautiful meandering of the Snake River here and a chance to take a glimpse into the riparian ecosystem. Spot multiple nesting sites of fisher birds and ducks.

Wonderful tour of Grand Teton National Park with Teton Excursions. Emily was very helpful setting up the tour and answering questions. Our tour guide Chris was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. All the sights were incredible, spotted some wildlife and learned so much about the park and it’s history. Great picnic lunch with an incredible view. Highly recommend touring with Teton Excursions.

The Grand Tetons private tour was fantastic. Aaron was so accommodating and knowledgeable. We had lunch at the most beautiful location over liking the Tetons and Jackson Lake.

Timo was a great guide. Very knowledgeable. Took us to all the well-known spots. Van was clean and comfortable. Great picnic lunch. Private tour was just the thing during this time of Covid .
