The service was lovely and we saw tons of otters and sea lions . We also saw some whales , and a porpoise was following our boat . The scenery was fantastic , but it was cramped at the table .

My wife and I just returned from a 6-day vacation in Alaska. The best part of the trip was this all-day tour (bus ride from Anchorage to Whittier plus boat tour of Prince William Sound). Bus tour was okay (stopped a few times to snap pics and drove through a 2.5 mile one-lane tunnel), but the best part was the 5-hour boat tour where we saw many glaciers, including a few that carved off into the water in front of our eyes (sounded like thunder!). On the boat tour, we also saw lots of wildlife, including a humpback whale that breeched the surface many times, sea otters floating on their backs, harbor seals floating on ice, porpoises playing the wake of our boat, etc. It was a spectacular tour and easily the highlight of our entire vacation trip (even better than our bus tour of Denali -which was also fun). I would highly recommend this tour if you plan a trip to the Anchorage area.

Our favorite part of the trip was going through the ice fields to see the glaciers. We also enjoyed seeing raft of otters with at least 30 otters just hanging out floating on their backs - reminder me of my wife and her girlfriends laying on floats at the lake chatting and enjoying the warmth of the sun. we caught a short glimpse of a whale and saw 50 plus seals laying out on big pieces of floating ice. And we saw and heard glaciers calving. It’s cold on front and sides with the wind, so dress warn. Highly recommend binoculars which we were able to rent onboard. Food on ship was much better than expected. Ranger’s talk on ship was very informative and crew was friendly and helpful.
