Phenomenal ! Bucket list journey. Do it! Took coach from anchorage. Boarded ship in Whittier around noon. It was rainy and foggy. Expectations were low. Try to get a table up front if you can. But everything is good. Got underway and lunch was served. Good chowder. There’s another meal option and they sell snacks and hot dogs, soda, beer. The journey up was beautiful. Captain did an outstanding job spotting wildlife and trying to get everyone to see it and take photos. As we got towards the glaciers the skies cleared up. The most northern part of the tour near the glaciers was absolutely stunning. We got right next to Harvard glacier. You could see ice calving off the glacier and falling into the sound. We saw porpoises, seals, otters, an orca and a humpback. Bring a phone charger, there are USB ports at the table. Wear layers and bring a good jacket. It was June and it was cold in the wind at cruise speed. Hats off to the captain and his crew.
