We have spent years exploring southern Utah so we can take you to the most jaw-dropping views and secret spots.
This is the Half Day Cathedral Valley tour option. A superb way to get a taste of the backcountry of Capitol Reef National Park without the time commitment of a full day tour, making it perfect for families or groups with limited time.

We will drive about 1.25 hours on dirt roads to the iconic Temples of the Sun and Moon and Glass Mountain, one of the most stunning, photogenic features in Capitol Reef, with plenty of stops along the way to stretch our legs and admire scenic views. We spend up to an hour here, then drive back the same way about 1.25 hours.

We went to Capitol Reef NP for two weeks in January (2022), primarily to hike. The park is gorgeous at that time of year and there are fewer people. While we where there we decided to take an all day jeep trip into Cathedral Valley. We searched the web and talked with several local folks and the clear choice was Sleep Rainbow Adventures. Jason picked us up right on time and we headed off. He was incredibly knowledge in many ares (geology, archeology, history, wildlife, ...). His enthusiasm, passion and love of the area was very evident and infectious. The area we visited was spectacular! Jason made this trip truly amazing and unforgettable!
