Oddly enough, it was a rainy day in the rainforest. We didn't see any wildlife except for a big ol' snail. But we learned about the forest and saw some waterfalls and it was a nice excursion.

The tour guide was great and the sights were beautiful. The forest was amazing and the little bit of rain really brought everything to life. I enjoyed the walk through the forest and we got to see a lot of different and interesting things. The tour guide was constantly talking and teaching about what we were seeing which was great. She seemed extremely knowledgeable and I learned a ton.

We visited Alaska on a cruise Aug, 2018 and took this trip as our excursion for the port of Ketchikan, Alaska. We booked this on the ship so it cost us $129 per person...Do not waste your hard earned money on this excursion...So not worth it!!! The city is beautiful and there are so many other things to do there that are much more fulfilling then this excursion. This is the most disappointing excursion I have EVER been on! Was not at all what we expected. Advertised as an exciting hike in the Tongass Rainforest where you will view a waterfall and possibly wildlife...we did not see a waterfall or any wildlife, unless you consider slugs wildlife. First guide takes us on this strange walk about a mile through alleys and mud to a van that all 11 of us cram into and drives us about 15 mins to trailhead. Once on trail guide tells you about every plant they can find something to talk about. Unless you are really into plants it is beyond boring. When we arrived at the much anticipated waterfall it was more like white water flowing over rocks in the river, nothing close to a waterfall. This should be advertised as a nature walk. Save yourself a lot of money by catching a taxi or Uber to trailhead and walking it yourself since there is no charge to walk trail. It is a gravel covered trail and you won’t get lost. People were out there walking there dogs so you can just ask for directions or look up map on your phone. I felt dooped and they charge way more then it was worth. Not a good value for the money they charge. So disappointed!!!
