One of my goals has been to do whale watching. We choose Discovery Whale Watching for 2 reasons -- reviews and the offer of refund if they could not make the trip on our reserved time. The crew was knowledgeable and helpful and the trip was a success -- followed 2 humpback whales up the coast for at least 30 to 40 minutes. Highly recommend.

We had not realised there were so many companies offering these trips. Discovery whale watch was recommended to us and we were not disappointed! The boat was not too big and not too small. There was enough space for all to get clear views without any jostling. Caitlin , our marine biologist was very knowledgeable and we noticed she and the crew spotted the patterns of movements of the animals and predicted where they would be and then anticipated where the whales would surface when they’d been down for a bit. We saw sea otters, sea lions, Rossi dolphins and several humpbacks - all in their natural habitat and at close range. It was truly amazing! There were also giant jelly fish. Thanks Caitlin and your crew. We had a fabulous time!
