We booked the afternoon tour, and we were a little skeptical about the sunny weather. Luckily, the weather was partly cloudy with very clear sight that day. The tour started at 1:30 pm as expected, with a quick briefing by our guide aka marine biologist Isaiah. We started going more into the Monterey bay and then into the Pacific, and after about 45 min to an hour, we had a really good sighting of the humpback whales and 3 kind of dolphins during the tour :) :) Our captain gave enough time to take pictures and videos of marine wildlife. The crew always kept us entertained throughout the journey, and I will totally recommend going whale watching via Discovery Whale Watch. Few tips: eat light, carry dramamine for sea sickness, wear water resistant layers.

5 of 5 and let me tell you why. I expected to not see any whales. So why did I go? She wanted me to, so I went. And am I glad I did! At first I was skeptic since you make a whale come up out of the water. And they Sid come up! Spectacular! Our marine biologist guide was a plethora of information. He had a ton of things for us to learn while we watched. And watched. And watched some more! The whales were so close to out boat! Such fun! Thanks y’all!

I cannot say enough good things about this experience. It was great from beginning to end. Check-in was smooth, boarding was organized, whale viewing was amazing, tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly and the captain was the best! We saw over 50 whales during our cruise! Whoo Hoo. My grandkids loved it. I give this activity 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!
