Each tour is lead by an experienced Navajo guide, who is certified by the Navajo Nation Parks & Recreation Dept. and National Park Service. Each and everyone of our guides was born and raised in this Canyon De Chelly area, allowing them to gain a vast knowledge of its history to share with all our guests who visit this place we call home. As well as learning about the canyon's rich history, rock art sites and other archeological sites, you will hear stories and tales of life in the canyon and get a chance to visit our guide's families who still weave, farm, ranch, and continue to live a traditional Navajo lifestyle in this rural part of the southwest. What To Expect

Canyon de Chelly National Monument

Our guided 4x4 tours into Canyon De Chelly National Monument will be lead by experienced and seasoned guides. On your trip, you will visit many archeological sites that include cliff dwellings of the Ancestral Pueblo, rock art panels (both pictograph and petroglyphs) from all past and present inhabitants of Canyon De Chelly, and other historical sites. There will also be many stops for photographic opportunities, restroom stop, and a chance to purchase artwork from local Native artists. Possible stops include visiting a working farm and/or weaving demonstration, only if resident is at their canyon home.

Ben was my guide through Canyon de Chelly. Since he had family who lived right here and showed me their property it made everything he said more personal. He very carefully showed me all of the Anasazi landmarks and the pictographs on the canyons walls. He was very knowledgeable and pointed out and interpreted all the art. The tour stopped in the De Chelly canyon at White House ruins. He quickly showed me a lot of the Muerte canyon as well. I wish the weather had been as good as was predicted. It started raining hard at White House ruins and continued throughout the rest of the tour. I loved being in an open vehicle until I got soaked! I would have liked to take pictures of the water cascading off the wet walls of the canyon and of the resulting waterfalls but Ben was trying to get out of the rain. My fault for not saying anything. I also wish I had gotten a picture of us at the end. Also my fault. The whole experience was great, even the rain!

We enjoyed the gorgeous scenery of the canyon and learning about the history and people who lived in the area. Daniel showed us all the rock formations that resembled animals as taught in the Indian cultures. Leander was very easy to deal with when trying to set up a time for our tour to start. He was very accommodating when last minute we wanted to change our start time. He made it all work out beautifully. I would recommend this company to do your jeep tour.
