Did you know Denver was founded over a barrel of whiskey? On this 3 hour Colorado Whiskey tour you will learn about Whiskies and their role in the founding of the city. On this walking tour you will visit Denver's oldest Irish Pub, a modern day saloon, and a local Denver distillery. Along the way you will sample different whiskies, learn how high altitude distilling is different than anywhere else and learn some light local history. I've lived in the Denver area for 25 years and have never taken the time to learn about Denver's history, until now. What better way to soaking in the history than soaking in some whiskey history and samples along the way. Will was very attentive to our interests throughout the tour, asking how much history we wanted to hear about, and making sure we were well hydrated. He provided a great range of whiskeys to sample, including several that may have become new favorites for us. I would recommend this tour to visitors and locals alike if you have interests in both Denver and Whiskey history.

I have been to Colorado on a number of times, this tour made me fall in love with the rich history of the state and appreciate our tour guide, Will. He was so knowledgeable, kind and just a peoples, person. It's missing in our world but I'd recommend this for anyone traveling or wanting something really awesome, if you're local. Will thanks again all the way from Texas!!!!
