This is our 3rd time of visiting Boggy Creek. This year we went back and took the parents to show them 'Wild Florida!'. We decided to have a VIP tour and had a private airboat to ourselves. It was a one hour tour and we decided to go early morning knowing that this was the best time to see the gators! Yet again we were hugely impressed with the driver and the tour. He was very helpful and told us a huge amount of interesting information. We were very lucky and must have seen 8 - 10 alligators ranging from 3 ft up to 14ft! We also saw turtles, various water birds, Osprey and Bald Eagles. It was a very enjoyable hour and we would again 100% recommend visiting. I note other reviews say 'didn't see much, not worth the money'. 100% disagree! Remember these are WILD animals and cannot be guaranteed. However, help yourselves and go as early in the morning or later in the day to avoid the hear - they hide under the water when it's hot. Also go for a longer tour rather than 30 minutes (too short in my opinion). It is also harder to spot them in the summer months. I really recommend this trip to anyone in the Orlando area on holiday. It's brilliant!

I didn't think this was very good value we were out for about 30 minutes and saw 2 crocodiles, a tree and some birds. I saw more animals at Disney on the Safari ride. There were baby crocs in an enclosure to see but I didn't think it was worth the cost of going, very poor value. If you are going ensure you get a discount via coupons.

Thank you so much for your review. We strive to make the best experience for all our guests, and we value the input we receive from each and every one. As you stated the major attractions are a great place to get a guaranteed sighting of animals since they are all captivated in natural looking enclosures. We offer a different experience by seeing them in the wild. Unfortunately, wildlife does not come with guarantees, like a theme park or zoo would. There are certain times of year and certain times of day that you can have the best chance to see the most wildlife. When itā€™s hot out we recommend early in the morning or at night. During times when the weather drops less than 60Ā°F/15Ā°C itā€™s best to come in the middle of the day. We do guarantee alligator sightings on our night ride, since they are nocturnal and come out to feed at night. We thank you again for your review, and hope you give our night ride a try next time for a better chance to see more.

A big thanks to Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures and Airboat Captain John P Ruggeri! I had an absolutely amazing time touring the Central Florida wetlands and photographing animals. If you are headed to the Central Florida area, take a day away from the theme parks and crowds and come experience this amazing place. It holds some of the most interesting species that can be seen in the United States. And while you are there, ask for Airboat Captain, JOHN RUGGERI. I have never met anyone as knowledgeable as he is on the species of that region. He is an OUTSTANDING spotter, and because he is also a photographer, he knows how to position the boat to get the best shots. He also knows where the best "hot spots" are to get those rare shots! Thanks John! It was an amazing trip! See you again soon!!
