What To Expect

Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures

You'll feel like you are flying as you race across the water surface at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour on a 30- or 60-minute ride. The 17-seater airboat lets you see parts of the wetlands inaccessible by car, while feeling the thrill of speeding across the water with the wind in your hair.

This was our fourth time on this great excursion but the first time for the 60 minute tour. We saw quite a few gators in the wild and all kinds of birds. The bulls in the glades are fun to watch because they watch you as you go by - - and I'm sure they say to themselves; "What are you lookin' at?" Captain Ryan knew just where to go to see the gators sunning on the lily pads. I do not think he missed any. I really just like to ride on the airboat and would not have been disappointed if we hadn't seen any gators - - but that is just me. The couple in front of us were from Australia nd took a lot of pictures. The first time we rode the airboats the area consisted of a dirt parking lot and a "junk shop". It has really grown and now has a myriad of things to see and do, to include a narration by an Indian who is very detailed in his presentation - - possibly a little too detailed. The presentation was enjoyable and very informative. The only two negatives were the hostess in the "junk shop" seemed very rude and the lady taking reservations, although very helpful and pleasant, was unable to apply any discounts (senior or military) for the 60 minute tour.

First time of doing this adventure, Absoultly amazing, saw loads of wildlife and Gators, which keps my 5 year old grandson entertained and occupied. Will definitely do it again upon our return

Had a fantastic time with the family doing the airboat tour! Our guide was very informative, personable and even a bit cheeky! (There were some great photobomb shots with him!! Lol). I would definitely come back again!! Saw quite a few gators! It was a very enjoyable time!! We also ate at the restaurant and had some gator.. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the gator was! Don’t miss out on visiting here! Keep up the great work!!
