What To Expect

Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures

You'll feel like you are flying as you race across the water surface at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour on a 30- or 60-minute ride. The 17-seater airboat lets you see parts of the wetlands inaccessible by car, while feeling the thrill of speeding across the water with the wind in your hair.

These guys know there stuff, my wife and her mum had never bee on an adventure like this before, we were all exited to see the alligators and were not disappointed. The guide was very knowledgable and good humoured, he knew what to look for and where to find it. A good deal of time was provided to take pictures of the wildlife and an understanding for the wildlife not being disturbed by our presence was observed with high respect. We chose to take the hour long excursion and were not disappointed, I would not advise the 30 minuet trip as the area they cover is large and you would probably not cover it all.

Had a great hour on the airboat with a very informative driver who showed us the interesting parts of the swamp where we saw some lovely birds and as well as alligators basking in the sun we saw some baby alligators about 6 t0 12 inches long and the mother was there also .Would do it again a great experience

Going on an airboat ride was a bucket list thing for me to do. I decided on Boggy Creek Airboat Rides based on all the reviews that I read on Trip Advisor. I was not disappointed! This place is more than just air-boat rides and what was originally supposed to be a 30-minute joyride ended up becoming a 4 hours of fun! We started our day with Chris who drove/sailed(?) the airboat. Chris was very knowledgeable about local wildlife and stopped often to talk about the resident birds, cattle, and alligators. Chris took his time to explain until everyone in the boat was happy. The 30-minute ride was great value and I highly recommend it. Next time I would like to do the night time ride! After our ride I noticed the Native American exhibit and went to investigate it. A local Floridian Native named Little Big Mountain was there who talked about the First Nations and a number of lost Tribes. It was amazing to listen to. Little Big Mountain is an incredible historian, story teller and entertainer, and you definitely don’t want to leave this park without speaking to him! We also visited Ana at the activity centre to rent quad (pedal) bikes and feed the alligators. Ana was very friendly and helpful and she provided us with a lot of insight into how the park operates. Before you leave you MUST go to the restaurant and order the Gator Bites. My Son and I polished off two servings of them. They were incredible! I highly recommend Boggy Creek Airboat Rides and I will definitely be going back there when I next visit the area.
