The best views of Chicago can be yours at 360 Chicago Observation Deck! Perched 94 stories above the Windy City, the 360 Chicago provides commanding views of Lake Michigan and Chicago’s towering skyscrapers, including Willis (Sears) Tower. Located in the heart of downtown on Michigan Avenue, the observatory is steps away from other top Chicago attractions. It will be the high point (literally) of your Chicago trip!

Upgrade to the Sip and View ticket, which includes one drink at the newly renovated CloudBar. The Sip menu includes a rotating selection of beer, wine and cocktails. Once onsite, you can purchase tickets to TILT, a thrill ride that offers visitors unique, downward facing views from 1,030 feet. You may also choose to upgrade your Sip and View ticket from the Sip Menu to the Elevated Menu for an additional $8.

What To Expect

360 Chicago Observation Deck

Step into a high-powered elevator that will take you on an exhilarating ride to the 94th floor at a speed of 20.5 mph (33 kph). The observatory provides unbeatable views of Chicago at all times of the day: Go in the morning or afternoon to admire the expansive blue of Lake Michigan, go at sunset for a romantic moment, or go at night when the city becomes a sea of twinkling lights. 360 Chicago Observation Deck offers several activities to complement the pretty view. If you need to catch your breath, head to the observatory’s bar for cocktails or delicious Chicago treats. Additional admission options are available for your visit. The TILT option offers access to an attraction of outward tilting glass 1,000 feet above the Magnificent Mile, offering unique, downward-facing views.

From the observation deck high up you have a great view of New York and the surrounding area. You can also feel the building's vibrations. You can order a drink in the integrated coffee shop and enjoy the view. TIP: There is the possibility of a very special experience. For an additional charge of around $10 you can stand at special windows that then move forward. This gives you a clear view down. A truly breathtaking, if also crazy, experience. In summary, it is a great experience, but it is not cheap. The entrance fee is unfortunately not appropriate and far too expensive!

The views were high, as was the price of admission. It is not understandable that you have to pay an additional 10 dollars to lean a little.

Thank you for your feedback. We absolutely want our guests to get the most value for their money. We’re committed to remaining the cheapest observation deck in Chicago and less than comparable attractions (Willis, Top of the Rock, CN Tower, Empire State, etc.). Hope you can come back soon.

In our opinion it is not worth it. Okay, you have an infinite view of the horizon, but you won't be impressed like with similar subjects, for example, in New York. The tilt is also not special, you just go to the edge and it tilts the window a few degrees. On the downside on tilt you can't take pictures yourself, you have to leave them and pay extra.

Thanks for the feedback. We encourage photography throughout the observation deck. However, for safety reasons, it is not allowed while the TILT is moving. For guests looking to film the tilt experience using personal photography, they may film safely through the window that looks into the tilt room! We're very sorry to hear about your experience.
