The fact that it was perfect weather has nothing to do with this review. Capt. Charlie was really great to hang with for a couple hours. Learned a little about sailing, got promoted in rank, had a drink or two (thanks for that, Captain) and really had a perfect "spur of the moment" day on the water. I am sure I'll return when back in the area. The experience is well worth it and the Captain is well worth it. Until next time, Capt.... watch that RR bridge.

Captain Charlie contacted us before we came as the weather forecast was not the best. We opted to go anyway. It started out beautiful but then the rain came. Despite the tough weather we still had a wonderful trip. ā€œA bad day on the water is better than a day at work.ā€

Captain shared many stories of his days on the water. We learned about the other boats and laws of the intercoastal. Saw manatee and water birds. My husband learned a little about sailing. Only thing I would change is take a longer trip. And I would have meet him closer to the outlet to the Atlantic. There is a lot of traffic on the New River!
