Captain Wills was our swamp buggy tour guide. His knowledge and reverence for all things Everglades was readily apparent. Captain Wills pointed out panther tracks alongside the road and a mama alligator sunning herself on the bank with her 2 little ones. He showed the plants that the natives used as bug repellents and others that were used as fire starters. He was great with our granddaughters (ages 4& 5) and patiently and happily answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend this adventure. It puts you in the middle of an ecosystem unchanged for eons. Awe inspiring and beautiful.

This was basically a local guy rolling us through the woods and imparting knowledge from his having lived there. I would have liked more in depth info. We enjoyed ourselves though.

We booked our trip last minute and Steve was very accommodating. He gave us great directions and we found the place to meet with ease. It is located in the Big Cypress preserve. No, there are no bathrooms so go before you get there. It was a wonderful tour of the real everglades. We recieved a wealth of information about the area. Steve was wonderful with our children. Our tour lasted almost 4 hours. So worth the money! He offers many different types of experiences and will work with you to personalize your trip to best suit you. If you are looking for a great tour off the beaten path with an experienced glades-man, this is your tour! We look forward to doing this again!!
