Unimpressed with the “tour”. It was open ocean and didn’t see much of anything. It was advertised as a private cove with snorkeling. The snorkeling was not in a cove and just off the shore with dangerous rocks where the tide was harsh. Got sea sick as well and the guide was gonna let us go back to the dock a mile away by ourselves. Luckily they didn’t, but that was their original plan.

It is unfortunate that you did not feel satisfied. Everyone else had a very good time. We do understand that feeling seasick makes the experience quite trying. We did have to have a guide take only the 2 of you back as we determined that you were probably not able to do so by yourselves. We believe you are mistaken about a "private cove'. By Hawaiian law, no one can own the coastline so there can not be a private cove, private beach, etc.. Perhaps you mistook that the places we go to rarely have any other people around so it may seem like a private experience compared to tours that go to places like Captain Cook, etc. We hope you have gotten over your seasickness and hopefully will take precautions like we suggested before the tour.

Morning tour with Miles Madison, tour guide extraordinaire! He is skilled, safe, knowledgeable about the ocean/kayaking/ history of the area and managed my 86 year old mother with kid gloves. She always requests a day on the water with Miles when she comes to visit and he never disappoints! He is incredibly kind and treats her with great respect, while peppering her with humor and stories of his humble Alabama upbringing ( with the necessary Southern drawl). This is a “ must-do” annual event! We appreciate everything about him and his tour.
