45 Minute Semi-Submarine Tour of Catalina Island From Avalon

Overview
Come aboard Catalina Island's newest semi-submarine, the SS Nautilus, and enjoy a deep sea adventure 1,000 leagues beyond your imagination. The main attraction of this unique vessel allows six feet underwater viewing while staying dry so eager seafarers can get up close and face-to-face with schools of fish anticipating treats fired away from custom designed fish food torpedo buttons. Designed after America's first nuclear powered submarine, the USS Nautilus, the 45-minute journey is the destination itself as our captain and his crew ventures out on an exploratory mission to the undersea gardens of Avalon Bay.

Worst experience dealing with these people. Me and my family did NOT get to go on the tour because of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and lack of communication between the owner of the boat and the check in. I would give it ZERO stars if possible. I will NEVER DEAL WITH THIS AGAIN. We were told to go stand at the Letter E to be called to the boat. Not once were we told to go down to the boat and just walk on. The man on the boat saw us standing there and not once told us to come down or if we were part of the tour. We were on time! The boat just closed and took off. It was the last boat of the day and we were leaving in the in the morning g and couldn’t catch another one. The lady that TOLD us to stand there and wait was the absolute RUDEST customer service employee I’ve have ever dealt with. Would not give us the name of the owner of the boat, her managers name, her name and yelled at us when we were just trying to get answers or a name of the boys owner to ask him questions and leave her alone. She made the situation worse. So me and my family wasted $221 to watch the boat go away. I will never again book this tour or anything through this company. I will talk to the necessary people to make sure this is dealt with.

The fish cannon was very entertaining and the whole experience was delightful. My girlfriend loved it, she maintains that it was her favorite part of our trip.

It’s an awesome and amazing experience! =)) I and my daughter enjoyed the adventure and to add to that, the guys are very nice and taught us a lot of stuff we didn’t know about fishes.
