We visited New York and went to see Ground Zero Memorial;.which was very moving and emotional The respect and way in which the Memorials (The sites of the twin-tower's) has been set with the free flow of water surrounded by the metal plaques containing all of the names of those who lost their lives - is a feeling/viewing we will never forget On a birthday the named person has a rose, remembering This is a touching, respectful and honouring experience-you will be moved & effected A MUST and highly recommended Anne & Stephen Sheppard

As I remember this happening, no visit to New York happen without a trip to ground zero. It is everything you would expect and nothing you every wanted to happen. It's almost a requirement to see for all humans. The only issue that my husband and I both had is that the plaques with information on them of the event are VERY small. And due to the amount to people, it is hard to read the information. I would have like to know the designers reasons for this because it is really a problem. When you leave the museum, take notice of the escalator taking you up and out of the pit. It was pretty moving, no pun intended. OH-- buy your tickets before you get there and save yourself time standing in, what can be a very long line. ( but the line is great for people watching!)
