I have watched tv shows about 911 but it wasn’t until I actually came to the memorial, that I could understand the full impact. I am still trying to process my emotions… I encourage everyone to see this and experience the raw pictures of the people of NYC.

A very emotional experience, excellent display of artifacts and items recovered from both towers, pentagon and airplane. If we don't learn from our history it gets repeated so education of this day is important. I would advise anyone wanting to visit to go early, we went at lunch time and it was very busy. There was one line that will stay with me " as terrible as the day was at least i spent that day with Sean." This highlighted to me the pain felt by so many people and all those lives that we changed forever on this tragic day. I found the memorial water feature a beautiful way to remember all the lives lost. I would highly recommend visiting. Rip to all those innocent people.

This was incredible and so upsetting at the same time. We met someone at the museum called Mark Caruso who was an absolute fountain of knowledge and a credit to the museum. They need to retain this guy as he lived and breathed the disaster on this tragic day, being sat in the North Tower when the first plane hit. You could literally spend hours in here. We were in there for 3 hours and it wasn't enough!!! I would highly recommend this and you will not get bored! So well done, you will be blown away.
