Well organized to get people checked in and through security. The museum is a somber but important place to visit; some of our group was overwhelmed by a few of the exhibits but that is a proper sensation.

I can’t say we enjoyed this as it was just a very sad and humbling experience , but if you are visiting New York then you should try and make it a ‘must do’ The museum really brought home the magnitude of what happened and the room with pictures of all those that died from this horrendous event was quite upsetting . I didn’t like or appreciate the constant need to try and ‘upsell’ personally I found it a bit disrespectful and for me went against what I felt this museum should represent - but that’s just a personal perspective . Security on entry is tight which is reassuring ,we took no photos as again just didn’t feel right , but there were people snapping away .

- Long line to but tickets, highly recommend buying online before hand as you could just go right in and not wait, but also a plus: military veterans and active service members get free admission and a discount to college students (my girlfriend and friend). Not pricey at all, especially for the length of time you'll stay and size of the museum. - We were running on a tight schedule, wanted to see many different areas of New York for the first time, but since this was right next to the hotel we were staying at (CQ World Trade Center Hotel), we figured we'd check it out. - 10/10 experience, we didn't realize how expansive and detailed this museum was, we wanted to do a quick walk-through, maybe an hour, but ended up staying for almost 3 hours total, taking in all the information, preserved pieces, amazing artwork, and tragic, but ought to be remembered stories of victims and heroes. - After walking out of the museum, it was much more meaningful to see the waterfall displays of where the towers once stood. Highly recommend for everyone, and I mean everyone, once in your life to go pay your respects and learn about the horrific events of 9/11. I've learned about it all myself in school, but being born in the year 2000, I didn't really "experience it" or remember it at all, going through that museum gave me a better perspective and learned more than you could learn about it through YouTube videos. Again, 5 out of 5 stars.
