The 9/11 museum is a must see in nYC. We went on a Saturday in October. We showed up at 3:30 and were able to buy tickets and join the 3:30 line which was moving in. I had been before a few years before and it was so crowded and with all the artifacts, so overwhelming, that I didn’t love it. This time we got the audio tour And I would say that you MUST rent the audio tour! It made all the difference. We spent 3 1/2 hours in the museum, and had to be kicked out because the museum was closing. I would now 100% recommend it. But only go if you have a lot of time, and dont mind getting choked up here and there.
